AriRDC was established with a fundamental insight: the most pressing dilemmas facing humanity — novel pandemic pathogens, clean energy storage limits, ethical frameworks for artificial intelligence — never reside within a single academic department. They exist at the interfaces.
Rather than an assortment of isolated, competing departmental silos, AriRDC was engineered as a truly convergent research ecosystem: unified infrastructure, shared core facilities, and cross-school doctoral mentorship where an oncologist, a materials chemist, and a machine learning engineer attack complex problems together.
Located in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, our campus spans 72 departments across 9 interdisciplinary schools, supporting over 1,200 active fellows and collaborating with top-100 institutions globally.
